Starring Oscar winner Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds,comes a laugh riot directed by Anne Fletcher. The plot revolves around Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) who works as an assistant to Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock),who is a hard-driving and pushy editor at a New York publisher. When Margaret, a Canadian is faced with deportation due to an expired visa, she comes up with a scheme to marry Andrew. He agrees only if she promises a promotion in return. A very skeptical INS agent vows to test the couple about each others-their likes dislikes and family next Monday. Andrew is planning to fly home to Sitka, Alaska to celebrate his grandmother’s 90th birthday, so Margaret accompanies him. Here family dynamics take over and tensions between Andrew and his father and his ex-girlfriend twist the whole plot. Adding to it, Andrew’s blatant dislike for Margaret adds fuel to the fire. Will the INS officer identify the fraud or will destiny take its own turn.
