It's just recently that social networking came into existence. Before that it was only blogging which let people share themselves online,whether it was sharing their ideas,express their views,interact,sharing pictures or in short maintaining an online diary.Some maintained because they had a love for writing and others maintained it for the heck of earning money.

But recently after social networking came into existence,the number of people into blogging has decreased significantly.It is same as the letter writing and Emails have been replaced by calls and sms's.



The reasons why social networking became so popular was that it let people share there views instantly. People started prefering to write their views within 500 characters rather than writing long posts. But there are still who love writing including us.

I prefer blogging more because it let us share our views in a mixture of photos,videos,text and also because there isn't any word limit. And you can actually do a lot with the blog which you can never do with the social networking sites.

In a survey, it was found that the number of blogs have increased but the percentage has gone down. Even the quality of blogs have increased significantly.

The sole reason why social networking has replaced blogging is that it requires a few skills,time and a proper discipline in writing a blog.
