This samsung phone is the successor to 'samsung galaxy S'.It has android 2.3 gingerbread OS and Touchwiz 4.0 UI which both bring a hell lot of features and a new experience to it.
The 4.3 inch super amoled plus display along with features like color rendering,enhanced contrast ratio,improved sunlight legibility and smoother video playback makes it incomparable to any other phone in this segment.
The 1.2GHz dual core processor provides a really fast interface allowing high speed multi tasking and faster web page loading.
The 8 Mega pixel camera supports full HD video recording at 1080p resolution.Adding to it we have a dual flash along with it.Not just that it is the first phone to have a 2MP front camera.The camera has n number of features including ISO adjust,multiple white balance option, panaroma, face detection,smile shutter and what not.
Design
It supports ultra thin 8.49mm chassis with smooth edges and having a unique hyperskin mesh back panel which provide a good grip and prevents the back from heating up during extended calls.
It measures 125.3 X 66.1 X 8.5mm,It is fairly big and weighs 116g.
The WVGA display packs 480X800 pixels and supports 16 million colors.Apart from the usual sensors it has a magnetic and gyroscope sensor which gives a superb gaming experience.
Battery and Storage
It has a 1650 mAh battery which supports 18.6 hrs on 2G and 8.6 on 3G.It comes with 16GB of internal memory and support 32 GB external.
Connectivity and features
It supports 3G,WiFi and GPRS along with DLNA and high speed bluetooth 3.0 for media sharing which is rarely seen till now.It features an intutive voice command feature that lets the user to control almost all major features with his voice commands.
It is preloaded with readers hub and social hub which enables the user to read millions of books and magazines and integrates all social networking sites and synchronize contacts from various sources to a single streamlined phonebook.
Th few new features include virtual desktop,on device encryption,kies air,microsoft exchange server,support for VoIP calling and a lot more.
It is priced around Rs30'999 and is expected to release around 2nd week of june.
